Love With Food’s April theme is Flower Power. Inspiring us to take some time to stop and smell the roses and enjoy Spring.
First look.
The inserts.
Orchard Blend by Sensible Foods
. Description: “Enjoy these crunch-dried apples, peaches, & apricots while picturing the orchards in bloom. These look tasty.
Heart-tee by Wild Hibiscus Co. Description: “A tangy deep-red floral tea, rumored to lower anxiety & stress, among other health benefits.” I’ve never had hibiscus tea but can’t wait to try it with some honey or as a frozen treat!
Creamed Honey with Chocolate Mint by Vintage Bee. Description: “Honey is packed with natural engery – enjoy this chocolate mint enhanced version any time of day you need a pick-me-up.” Sounds delicious alone!
Almonds with Cranberries, Honey + Sea Salt by Sahale Snacks. Description: “This salty-sweet protein packed treat is just the thing to keep you going on a day out planting your garden.” I love the simplicity of the ingredients. I’ve also got one in my purse for when I need an on the go snack!
Popcorn by Crave Canyon, I received 2 – Cane Juice + Sea Salt Kettle Popcorn kissed with Anise, and 1 – Aged White Cheddar Popcorn & Hatch Green Chile. They both sound delicious. Description: “The average American eats 54 quarts of popcorn a year – this uniquely flavored, non-GMO popcorn will give you a reason to be above average.” I would love to try this company again in their other flavors!
Honey Waffle by Meli, I’m glad I got 4 of these because they’re delicious! Description: “This traditional Belgian street fare features creamy honey filling sandwiched between crispy waffles.” I wouln’t call them crispy waffles, they’re more cakey and crumbly with gooey honey in the middle.
Fiodifrutta Organic Fruit Spread by Rigoni Di Asiago. I received 2 blueberry spread sample packets. Description: “These delicious fruit spreads are slow cooked with absolutely no added sugar to preserve the nutrients of the natural fruit.”
Organic Energy Bar by BumbleBar, my husband and I tried one each and we hated this…it tasted like bird seed but without flavor. I received a peanut and almond one. Description: “Nuts, sesame, flax, vanilla & cinnamon join forces in this deliciously chewy gluten free snack.” It sounds good the way it’s described but that’s not what we tasted.
Extra Virgin Coconut Oil by Kelapo. I’ve received a sample of this in my Eco Emi box before and love it! I use it on my skin as a moisturizer, and give some to my dog so he can gain from all the health benefits too! Description: “Add it to a smoothie, spread it on toast, or use it in recipes as a butter replacement – coconut oil harvested from coconut palms will be a healthy staple in your kitchen.”
Sea Salt Pomegranate Chips by Simply 7 Snacks. Description: “Po-tay-to, po-tah-to, pomegranate: there’s a new chip in town, with the perfect balance of sea salt and sweetness.” They’re a pretty color from the pomegranate powder!
Definitely a great box! I’m glad I upgraded to the Deluxe box several months back!
