Ipsy The Art Of Beauty October 2013

The Art Of Beauty is Ipsy’s chosen theme for the month of October.

I like that the cosmetic bag is advertised as a blank canvas for a DIY beauty bag of our choice! They encourage subscribers to upload photos of their decorated bags too! I’m thinking Swarovski crystals maybe for mine? We shall see!

I can always use make up brushes since they don’t last forever, so I am going to save this medium shadow brush from Coastal Scents for when I need another one.

Sadly this Sexy Hair Spray Clay has lavender in it so I will be gifting it to a friend. It’s a texturizing spray clay.

I can use this gorgeous Zoya polish, and plan to especially with Christmas coming! It’s a gorgeous pearlescent green that reminds me of a mermaids tail or a lovely green shimmering glistening ornament! The shade is Giovanna. I was hoping to get a Pixie polish since that’s what was pictured as the sneak peek photo on their Facebook but this is a wonderful alternative. It is absolutely as beautiful as a gem.

I stick to my Juice Beauty skincare and only organic skincare since I have such sensitive skin so I won’t try this Ole Henriksen Truth Creme Advanced Hydration but I have tried it before and did like it before my skin changed. It is sealed and I’m going to let someone special have this.

This Navy Mineral Shimmer from Bella Terra Mineral Cosmetics is a lovely shimmering dark navy blue. I already have one similar to it from Bare Minerals so I’m debating on whether to gift or keep it.

My favorite item is the Zoya polish, I got my first Zoya polish from Ipsy and fell in love. I am thrilled to get a Zoya polish from Ipsy any time!

Here’s a fun mani I did with this polish.

Here is the back of my cosmetic bag, it is drying and I’ll probably add a few hearts or a heart border again on the front. I used fabric paint, bows, and Swarovski crystals.

I also added a Swarovski crystal on both sides of the zipper pull.
