The products I used are Bare Minerals Flawless definition volumizing mascara in black, Elite waterproof eyeliner in black, Urban Decay’s primer potion and their moondust eyeshadow in Zodiac, Benecos beautiful eyes 001 quad palette and blush in Sassy Salmon, and Benefit Cosmetics Benetint lip stain.
I used a crease brush to apply the eyeshadow. Here is a close up of the eye look.
First apply your primer to your eyelids. Next using a crease brush apply the lavender shade all over the lid, next use the darker plum shade on the outer edges of your eyes shaping it into a light V, so it looks like a mild gradient effect going from light to dark from the inner to outer eyes. Last apply the lighest shade under the arch of your brow bone to highlight and help the eyes appear more open and awake. You can also apply some to the inner corners of your eyes as well. Follow the same gradient from lightest to darkest under the eyes as well. Next to add a smokey dramatic look to it, using your finger apply the Urban Decay moondust eeyeshadow in place of eyeliner created a wing and use your pinky to line under your eyes with this as well for some glam sparkle! Next curl your lashes and apply one to two coats of mascara and your eye look is done!
You can do your face make up how you usually do. For me I used my Yabi concealer, Christopher Drummond face powder in golden beige, and applied my Benecos blush to the apples of my cheeks and swiped towards the ear to spread it back a little and give a healthy glow. A pretty easy look for days you are pressed for time or want a simpler version of a smokey eye.
Here is the finished look!
